Nearing the end of the line...
Beneath the distant mountain peaks spread a vast encampment. Tents, campfires, horses and thousands and thousands of people spread across the plane. Daisy had seen encampments like this one before. This was a living army camp, with soldiers, wives, children, peddlers, teachers and doctors all living under the falling snow. As the train slowed Daisy saw soldiers scrambling up towards the carriage. Orders were shouted and men in flying black capes raced horses ahead of the train.
